Should you choose spherical or multifocal lenses?

The spherical lens is selected primarily by the prescribed power. The Multifocal design is intended for presbyopia or multifocal prescriptions, but an existing spectacle power should not be transferred directly. Distance, intermediate and near vision should be assessed by an eye-care professional.
